We provide comprehensive care to patients from newborn to elderly to achieve the highest level of physical and emotional balance, and we understand the value of complementary approaches of healing. .Responsibilities include:

• Taking vital signs, performing venipuncture, EKG, and vaccine administration.
• Preparing examination rooms daily, ensuring all supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready.
• Assisting practitioners with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Documenting all patient communications, refills, and relevant information accurately in charts.
• Scheduling external appointments and obtaining medication/testing authorizations.
• Communicating with other caregivers regarding physician orders and patient conditions.
• Reacting calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Assisting with special projects and adhering to all policies and procedures as assigned by the Practice Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• COVID-19 vaccinated.
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Record program (Epic preferred).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time position with pay ranging from $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
