Overview
Davis Relocation LLC is a licensed, locally owned moving and relocation company based in Omaha, Nebraska. We specialize in smaller household moves, with a focus on senior living moves. We are a small, professional team that takes pride in treating every client and their belongings with care and respect.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking mover to join our crew. This is a physically demanding role that requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a positive attitude with clients. No prior moving experience required — we will train the right person. A good driving record will be a plus, as there will be potential to be hired as a driver at a future date.
Duties
- Load and unload household goods safely and efficiently.
- Pack and wrap furniture and fragile items using proper materials and techniques.
- Follow crew lead instructions throughout the move.
- Operate dollies, hand trucks, and moving equipment properly.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck before and after every job.
- Treat clients and their belongings with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Communicate professionally with clients and crew members.
- Arrive on time in uniform and ready to work.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly and safely.
- Ability to be on your feet for up to 12 hours per day.
- Reliable and on-time transportation to the job site.
- Must pass a clean background check.
- No prior moving experience required.
- Uniform: Davis Relocation uniform shirt required at all times. Uniform must be clean and free of odor. Black shorts/pants required. Closed-toe shoes required.
You will enjoy working with our friendly team of movers. We are small and only maintain one crew of 2-4 movers. We are looking for someone who doesn't need a full-time role with us but can support when we have bigger moves come up. As we opened our company in summer 2026, we are still growing and there will be weeks with no moves while there will be weeks with daily moves. We are looking for someone who may be working another full/part-time job and can maintain flexibility during daytime hours to support as needed.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 15.0 per week
