Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Crew Leader to lead our landscape maintenance team. As a key member of our groundskeeping team, the Crew Leader is responsible for ensuring our lawns, gardens, and grounds are well-maintained and look their best. The successful candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and direct a team.
Responsibilities:
Be able to mow lawn
- Oversee daily maintenance tasks such as lawn care, tree care, and irrigation to ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Supervise and train a team of groundskeepers to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Coordinate and plan landscape projects, including building and construction.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement long-term landscaping plans.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and materials.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
Experience:
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, including lawn care, tree care, and irrigation.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Familiarity with building and construction techniques.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping and gardening practices.
- Experience with groundskeeping equipment and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
