Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and speed
- Assist with vehicle alignments, tire service, and other preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete mechanical repairs and maintenance procedures
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed, including parts used and work completed
- Support the service team by preparing vehicles for repair, including checking fluid levels and inspecting for potential issues
- Uphold safety standards by following proper procedures for heavy lifting, tool usage, and workplace safety protocols
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Basic sales aptitude to recommend additional services or maintenance needs when appropriate
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to learn dealership-specific processes
