What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOSPITALIST position at Davis Health System?
JOB SUMMARY
The physician provides clinical care in primarily an inpatient setting. Follows and directs evidence based practices established within the service line. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure appropriate continuum of care.
Additional Position Details:
• 7 on/7off - Days
• Open ICU
• Average Daily Census: 30
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Graduate of Accredited Medical School. Board certified / Board eligible in Internal or Family Medicine.
Experience/Physical Requirements:
Experience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
• Active and unrestricted West Virginia License. Current Federal and WV Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate. Fully credentialed according to by laws of the organization. NRP and PALS required.
