Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
As a Journeyman Electrician you will be required to perform all types of electrical work in commercial construction and healthcare environments. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities you will be completing the following:
- Wiring
- Installation of all types of conduit, fittings, cable tray, etc.
- Troubleshooting and completing electrical circuits
- Installing transformers, motor control, switchboards, and lighting applications
- Reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, and other reference material
- Training Electrical apprentices and helpers
- Operating tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures
Qualifications
- Kentucky electrical license is recommended but not required
- 5 Years of experience recommended
- Valid drivers license
- Own your own hand tools
- Proficiency with NEC and local codes
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
