Job Overview:
We are excited to be offering a Orthodontic Assistant position for our growing office at Davis and Goldberg Orthodontics. You'll be responsible for making sure our patients feel like family and assist our award winning orthodontist complete their treatment plans smoothly and join our patients on their journey to a beautiful smile. We are a fast paced office and expect our team to helps us grow while sticking to our core values.
Our ideal candidate will have preferably graduated from a 1 year dental assisting program and/or had at least 1 year of orthodontic clinical assisting experience. X-ray certification is required. Our team is like family and we are looking for someone who has a good attitude and willingness to learn. We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience.
What you'll Do: Assist the orthodontist in providing quality orthodontic care to patients and establish a trusting rapport with our patients. As an assistant you will be directly involved in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances panoramic, cephalometric X-rays, and 3-D itero scans. In addition to assisting, you will be responsible keep all chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, perform sterilization on instruments, and maintain the equipment. Familiarity with HIPPA regulation and must be able to maintain patient confidentiality. Knowledge of Invisalign is a plus.
