Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
- Monitor patients’ periodontal health through assessments and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments, findings, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment to uphold infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
- Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, radiography, and patient education.
- Strong knowledge of oral health principles, periodontal therapy, and infection control protocols.
