Functional Description
:
As a Sr. Operations Analyst, you are a key member of the PMA-271 Front Office Operations Team, responsible for enabling alignment, communication, and modernization across the program office. The Sr. Operation Analysts serves as the Operations Deputy supporting senior leadership and cross-functional teams by planning and facilitating acceleration events, workshops, and learning hours that align priorities and strengthen mission clarity; advancing workforce development through culture and engagement initiatives, onboarding/offboarding programs, and standards of practice documentation; and coordinating leadership messaging, internal and external communications, and knowledge-sharing campaigns. The role also drives digital modernization by supporting the maturation and implementation of key program systems, managing SharePoint content and Office 365 adoption, and optimizing knowledge management processes. The analyst captures and disseminates documentation, briefs, and stakeholder insights to inform decision-making, while providing operational and analytical support that enhances collaboration, transparency, and the overall digital and data analytics acumen of the program. The role is an integral part of generating timelines and tracking internal and external tracking. This position reports directly to the Operations Lead for the program office.

- Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
- Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
- Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.

Specific Duties
- Coordinate and lead directed operation projects incorporating innovative strategies and best practices.
- Interact with senior leadership and program office personnel to develop, communicate, coordinate training, and report application modernization.
- Support standard Operations team business, such as document reviewing and routing for PM or DPM signature; facilitation of meetings; management of IPT file systems within the SharePoint Online environment and within Teams.
- Maintain Operations calendar updates and action items.
- Assist in responding to internal and external taskers; submission of travel requests, DISS requests, BASICS II requests, coordination of visits by external parties; and coordination of meetings or travel requiring PM or DPM attendance.
- Recommend, manage, and deliver activities advancing workforce development.
- Track and report metrics and provide supporting data analytics such as learning hours, engagement numbers, etc. Recommend methods to increase participation and activ ty effectiveness.
- Manage SharePoint content and Office 365 adoption, enhancements, and user experience to recommend additional tools and system improvements.
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
Desired Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior role providing operations support at the NAVAIR PMA level.
- Track record of organizing and leading operation improvements efforts across large organizations. Experience in using or managing application development tasks using automation tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Office 365 (e.g. Power Automate).
