Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caulker to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for sealing and finishing joints in various building structures to ensure durability, weatherproofing, and a polished appearance. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality and longevity of construction projects, from remodeling to new builds.
Responsibilities
- Apply bulk caulking to precast panel joints, perimeter, hollow metal door frames, etc.
- Follow blueprints and technical drawings to accurately interpret project specifications for sealing and finishing tasks.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or removing old caulk to ensure proper adhesion of new sealants.
- Use caulking gun and necessary tools
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards are met and identify areas needing touch-up or correction.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in caulking, tuck pointing and restoration.
- Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and other equipment essential for construction site work.
