Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Caregivers to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need. We pay for mileage from your home to the Clients home, therefore, it is preferred you are close within proximity to Woodruff for a mileage allowance, as well as for emergencies. It would be a benefit for the candidate to have experience in various healthcare settings such as clinics, hospitals, physical therapy facilities, past caregiving experience or is pursuing a degree in a medical field. This position will be Monday Through Friday 8:30am to 1:30pm. Davis Care will provide training, background checks and screening. daviscare.org
Duties
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medications reminders as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate medical personnel
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations and age groups
- Ownership and connectivity of a mobile device that supports the company application
- Able to lift 45lbs or more
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
