Job Overview:
We are a growing automotive service center in Kansas offering full-service auto repair, tire sales & installation, and key cutting services. We're looking for a hands-on General Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our shop and lead our team to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations across all three departments: auto repair, tire sales & service, and key cutting
Hire, train, schedule, and lead technicians, service advisors, and counter/sales staff
Handle customer service issues and build lasting relationships with repeat customers
Drive sales performance : repairs, tires, alignments, rotations, and add-on services
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships (tires, parts, keys/blanks)
Oversee shop workflow, job assignments, and quality control to keep bays productive
Monitor costs, shop profitability, and monthly revenue targets
Ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Work with ownership on pricing, promotions, and local marketing
Requirements:
3 years of experience in automotive service as a shop foreman, service manager, assistant manager, or lead technician ready to step up
Solid knowledge of auto repair, tire services, and retail counter operations
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience with scheduling, inventory, and hitting sales targets
Dependable, organized, and comfortable being the face of the business
Valid driver's license
Nice to have: ASE certifications, experience with shop management software (Mitchell 1, Shop-Ware, Tekmetric, etc.), bilingual English/Spanish.
Pay: $50,603.55 - $72,984.92 per year
