Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with a strong interest in family law to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a diverse caseload from initial client intake through trial. You will work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts in all stages of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of family law cases including pleadings, discovery, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Draft motions, petitions, proposed orders, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct client consultations and maintain regular communication with clients.
- Represent clients in court and mediation with professionalism and confidence.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management and compliance with deadlines.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on Florida family law and procedural updates.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership and good standing with The Florida Bar.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
- Compassion for clients navigating sensitive family issues.
