What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Shipping Clerk position at Davis Aircraft Products?
Summary of Job Duties: Responsible for packaging and shipping all Material/ tooling requirements on a daily basis. Prepare all appropriate documentation for shipments. Create BOL and packing slips for all shipments.
Essential Functions:
1. Verify parts are correct
2. Assist with keeping shipping area clean and organized
3. Ability to lift 60 lbs.
4. Create Bill of Lading and packing slips
5. Verify packing address matches contract, all labels on boxes/crate coincide
6. Forward all appropriate paperwork on daily basis to accounting
7. Domestic and international shipping
8. Ability to multitask
Qualifications:
Job Knowledge and Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent. Must have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. Computer experience and forklift knowledge is a plus. Valid driver's license.
3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing plant
General Physical Requirements
Lifting, standing, sitting, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
- US Government contracts/ITAR requirements apply, limiting this position to “US Person” requirements. You must be able to provide valid documentation to prove US citizenship or an unexpired Permanent Resident Card. Only regional candidates who meet this criterion will be considered.

Pay: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour
