QUALIFICATIONS
|
|
|
Required: · High School Diploma or G.E.D and · Associates Degree, OR · Minimum of 48 college credit hours, OR · Pass a state approved test · Must be capable for working with students who may have physical, intellectual, emotional and/or behavioral exceptionalities.
Knowledge Of: · Basic computer skills including use of mouse and keyboard to navigate computer, e-mail, and websites · Classroom management techniques · Documentation and record-keeping techniques · Communication skills · Work cooperatively in a team environment · Policies and objectives of assigned program and activities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary: Assist teachers in designated instructional, non-instructional, management and clerical tasks. The variety of activities will be determined by the needs of the students. Aides may conduct community-based instruction and classroom activities apart from the physical presence of the teacher with appropriate direction and supervision.
