What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Clinical Assistant - Oncology/Hematology position at Daviess Community Hospital?
Description:
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Hours: 40 Hours/Week (16 Hours/Week is also available.)
Provides comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including administering medications, chemotherapy, and other treatments. Monitors patient responses to treatment and report any adverse reactions or complications. Educates patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, and post-treatment care. Collaborates with the oncology team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records. Offers emotional support to patients and their families during treatment.
Requirements:- Current Indiana RN licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Oncology and/or infusion therapy experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary : $70,118 - $100,579
