Job Summary
I am seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpentry helper to join my home remodeling team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of carpentry and construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. I am primarily looking for a person that is excited to learn this trade and grow into the job. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of home remodeling and construction. At this time, I can only offer part-time, 3-4 days per week. The scope of work includes flooring, kitchen and bath remodels, replacement of doors and windows, handyman work, and decks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinetry installation, and other carpentry tasks.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various construction activities.
- Participate in flooring installation, tile laying.
- Help with demolition, restoration work, and site cleanup.
- Follow safety protocols on-site and ensure all work complies with building codes and project specifications.
Skills
- The only thing that I am looking for is someone that is willing and excited to learn this trade.
- Must speak and read English.
- Must have transportation to my shop or meet on a jobsite.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
