Davidson is seeking a Linux System Engineer in Aurora, Colorado to support the Space Intelligence program. This position is contingent on contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
- An active cyber security certification, qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA , CND.
- Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities.
- You will work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems.
Job Requirements:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience
- An active cyber security certification, qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA , CND.
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems
- Experience using and developing automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, as well as scripting, primarily Bash and Python

Salary : $82,000 - $164,000
