This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and providing strategic insightsto support our organizations goals.Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards and Cash Basisas needed. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accuratetransactions. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records. Coordinate with tax preparers, ensuring compliance to relevant regulations. Perform auditing tasks to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with laws. Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering professional development within the team. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, and Microsoft Excel for efficientfinancial management. Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasting to support corporate finance decisions. Prepare regulatory reports as required by governmental agencies. Assist in budgeting processes and financial planning initiatives.Requirements Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation. Creation and preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year and provides financial statements forpreparation of the annual corporate tax return. Reviews balance sheet accounts and analyzes income statement accounts to ensure compliancewith state and federal regulations, coordinates with outside auditors. Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives andpolicies. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections,payroll, and budget preparation, ensuring all reports comply with accounting principles andreporting standards. Create and maintain team metrics to track progress and drive performance. Provide reporting and analytics to executive management. Contribute to month-end close through month-end reporting and analysis. Ability to interpret financial reports effectively and prepare detailed financial report writing.
