What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Digital Media position at Davidson College?
This position is responsible for but not limited to, the Department of Athletics coordination of digital content that highlights the achievements, stories, and experiences of student-athletes, teams, and the athletics department.
Minimum Requirements
- A two-year associate-level, career-focused degree in video production or related field required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in athletics setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior video production skills and with proficiency in Adobe Premiere or related software
- Ability to work flexible hours including evening, weekends and holidays
- Manage the department's digital media equipment, software, broadcast trailer and production spaces
- Ability to supervise freelance staff and/or students
Preferences
- Advanced knowledge in various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc)
- Prior video production skills and with proficiency in Adobe Premiere or related software.
- Position is a full-time with complete benefits, 12-month position that reports to the Director of Creative Services.
