Responsibilities
- Safely operate rollback trucks, flatbeds, tow trucks, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment to load and unload vehicles or cargo
- Transport vehicles securely to designated locations, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical inspections to assess vehicle condition before and after transport
- Load and unload vehicles with precision, managing weight distribution and securing loads effectively
- Assist with automotive repair tasks as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to support maintenance activities
- Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with customers or team members during operations
- Maintain accurate records of all transported vehicles, loads, and related documentation
Skills
- Proven experience with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including manual transmissions
- Valid commercial driving license with experience driving flatbed trucks, tow trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Skilled in operating forklifts and other industrial equipment safely
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Experience with conflict management in high-pressure situations is a plus
