David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.
This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout food brand at a pivotal stage of growth. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.
Role
As a Graphic Designer at David, you will bring our brand to life across every surface — from digital ads and e-commerce to packaging, retail displays, and beyond. You are a versatile, high-output creative who can move fluidly between channels and formats without sacrificing quality or brand integrity. You'll work closely with the marketing team to concept, execute, and ship work that is both beautiful and performance-driven.
Responsibilities:
- Design a wide range of assets including e-commerce product pages, website imagery, email campaigns, retail displays, field activations, promotional materials, packaging designs, branded print collateral, and social media graphics.
- Design and produce high-impact digital ads for paid social channels including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Translate brand identity into fresh, high-performing creative formats that drive engagement and conversion.
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns from concept to launch.
- Create and refine visual assets including product mockups and photo retouching to ensure best-in-class creative output.
- Maintain brand consistency and high visual standards across all digital and physical touchpoints.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors or agencies as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and creative performance goals.
What You'll Bring:
- 2–4 years of design experience in-house at a brand or creative agency.
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- A strong portfolio showcasing breadth across digital advertising, print, event collateral, packaging, web, and social — motion and animation are a plus.
- Proven ability to design digital ads and marketing assets that drive measurable engagement and performance.
- A strong command of typography, layout, and color theory with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and visually.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional work.
- The ability to operate independently while keeping the team aligned on priorities and progress.
- A passion for helping build an early-stage CPG company on a mission to create tools for increasing muscle and decreasing fat.
Practicalities:
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week — when the culture fits, it is fun to be in the office together
- Compensation: $85K - $105K per year. Compensation is inclusive of bonus
