Responsibilities

- Assist customers with retail sales, including processing transactions efficiently using cash handling and cashiering skills
- Support cash management activities, ensuring accurate cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining secure cash storage
- Handle basic math calculations for sales totals, discounts, returns, and financial transactions with precision
- Engage in loan processing or financial service inquiries when applicable, explaining options clearly and guiding customers through procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stock levels are monitored
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive relationships
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
- Basic math skills including retail math and proficiency with financial software or point-of-sale systems
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers and team members
- Ability to perform cash handling duties accurately, including 10 key typing for quick transaction processing
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the sales floor confidently, and handle physical aspects of the role
