Position Summary
This position reports to the Director of Operations and under their direction shares responsibility for the daily operation of the AFC group home. In addition to providing supervision, protection, and assistance with personal care to the residents in the home, the House Supervisor provides direct supervision of shift supervisors (if applicable) and other direct support professionals in the home.

In addition to providing supervision, protection, and assistance with personal care to the residents in the home, the House Supervisor provides direct supervision of shift supervisors (if applicable) and other direct support professionals in the home.
Education & Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- LPN preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid Michigan driver's license
- Willingness to obtain all the qualifications of a direct support professional and shift supervisor.
- Have at least one year experience working with the population being served.
- Able to collaborate and work as a team with others determined by the residents Individual Plan of Service.
- Able to meet or support the physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural, and social needs of each resident.
- Able to handle emergency situations.
- Able to complete any required reports and following written and verbal instructions.
- Able to manage and coordinate home including basic office skills, house utilities and repair needs.
- Able to supervise, monitor and train staff and volunteers working in the home; including scheduling, reporting and assessments.
