The Collections Representative is responsible for managing customer accounts to ensure timely payments and maintain positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding past due accounts via phone and follow-up communication
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with account questions and payment inquiries
- Process payments accurately and efficiently (cash, card, or other accepted methods)
- Monitor and follow up on inactive or lapsed insurance policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
- File and organize paperwork, contracts, and customer folders
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
- Follow company policies and procedures related to collections and compliance
