Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information about their automotive needs.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates using estimating software and communicate repair options clearly to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of services.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle repairs, service histories, and client interactions for seamless communication.
- Explain repair procedures and costs transparently
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Writer or in auto service management within a dealership or repair shop environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, diesel engines, shocks & struts, and collision repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
- Mechanical experience combined with strong customer communication skills will set you apart in this role!
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
