Working under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, this role will have a strong background in bookkeeping, payment processing, accounts payable, invoice correction and reconciliation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Track and reconcile financial transactions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize different software systems to manage financial data, generate reports and streamline accounting processes.
- Process payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Send out invoices to client facilities in a timely manner.
- Identify and rectify errors in invoices, working collaboratively with teams to ensure accuracy.
- Records payments and reconciles remittance advices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate the annual audit process and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to client facilities regarding billing inquiries
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree is preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as an accounting specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Proprietary software used.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superb analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting. Comply with GAAP and HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to multi-task, interpreting on-going problems and suggesting possible solutions.
