Orthodontic Assistant
Duties:
- Assist the orthodontist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical imaging
- Provide support in dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files
Skills:
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of orthodontic treatments and procedures
- Ability to accurately document medical records and maintain patient confidentiality
- Competent in taking dental X-rays
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient appointments and records
David McInnis Orthodontics is looking to grow our family! We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, particularly in orthodontics, and possess the necessary skills to provide excellent patient care. Prior experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Assistant is required.
Compensation: based on experience
