Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Billing Specialist is responsible for processing all retail vehicle sales for the dealerships assigned to them. In addition to processing the vehicle deals to the general ledger, they will also be responsible for corrections to the general ledger, if necessary.
- Review all deals in deal queue for errors
- Accurately post all retail vehicle deals to general ledger in a timely manner
- Audit gross profit, track errors for future process changes
- Reconcile/monitor assigned accounting schedules
- Communicate and resolve any and all issues with Accounting Manager
- Post any corrections daily if necessary
- Must have a general understanding of General Accounting Principals
- Must have a general understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be proficient in costing of vehicle sales records
- Prior automotive billing experience and working knowledge of ADP highly preferred
- Must be at-least eighteen years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
