Front End Engineer owning the full product surface of an AI memory platform powering LLM applications. This is a high-ownership, early engineering role working directly with founders to build scalable, high-performance user-facing systems.
Responsibilities
- Ship end-to-end features across frontend and backend including API design, UI development, and deployment
- Build and optimize high-performance web applications using Next.js, React, and Python
- Design component architecture, manage state, and ensure accessibility and performance across the product
- Own data models, backend logic, and system integrations supporting frontend functionality
- Implement SSR, ISR, and real-time features for responsive and scalable user experiences
- Write tests, enforce type safety, and maintain high code quality standards
- Operate production systems including monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with design, research, and customers to deliver polished, user-centric product experiences
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Next.js, React, and Python
- Experience building and scaling production web applications
- Strong frontend depth including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization
- Experience with REST or GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and queue systems
- Track record of owning features end-to-end from design through post-launch iteration
- Ability to work onsite in San Francisco
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
