The Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit is seeking a Field Survey Technician in Bellevue, WA.
OurField Survey Technicianwill work as a member of a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. The selected individual will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with DEA staff and clients on these projects. Involvement in the office will include reducing survey data, performing calculations, copying and filing of this data.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 0.5 year of field survey experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong work ethic with a high level of accountability and reliability
- Clean driving record, defined as no more than three (3) accidents and/or moving violations within the past 36 months, or no more than two (2) accidents and/or moving violations within the past 12 months
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
- Experience with Trimble total stations and GPS equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
