Job Description:
We have a unique and rewarding position available for a seasoned Project Manager professional in the Low- voltage Communication Systems Commercial market space. Functions include determining the technical needs of the project, setting expectations with the customer, working with the field technicians, inside sales team, and coordinating scheduling onsite to ensure a successful product and service installation. This will entail managing and coordination projects on VoIP phone systems, Camera Systems, Security Systems, Access Control Systems, Network Cabling systems including switches, network firewalls, and all related network equipment for data and VoIP infrastructures.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, and project implementation plans.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments including the field installation team.
- Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Manage project changes, issues, and risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage expectations and negotiate project priorities as needed.
- Establish and maintain project quality standards and ensure deliverables meet those standards.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Schedules onsite service calls for the field technicians on any major hardware problems for correction.
- Explain and provide IT solutions to customers in non-technical and comprehensible terms.
- Act as liaison between the IT support team of an organization and our customers.
- Offer recommendations to customers looking to purchase new equipment or replace existing ones
Required Job Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the low-voltage communications systems industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, internal team members, field technicians, and manufacturer support teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow-up on various Projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent typing skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing
- A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects.
- Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality
- Ability to lead projects from requirement definitions through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, and project implementation plans
- Ability to speak to basic technical fundamentals with experience in VoIP phone system, camera systems, access control systems, and networking components
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team effectively
- Train customer’s and explain technical information to non-technical people.
- The ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional client service required
