Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise masonry crews on commercial construction projects.
- Ensure all masonry work meets project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to direct work activities.
- Coordinate effectively with general contractors, project managers, and other trades.
- Monitor daily productivity, morale, and crew performance.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols, conducting regular safety checks.
- Track materials, tools, and equipment needs to maintain efficient workflows.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to build skills and encourage growth.
- Provide accurate daily reports on crew progress and project status.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial masonry construction.
- Proven leadership skills in managing crews and maintaining morale and productivity.
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with contractors and trades.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
- No formal education requirement-experience and skillset take priority.
