The ideal candidate is well-versed in all types of commercial masonry, highly capable of reading and interpreting construction plans, and committed to maintaining crew morale and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise masonry crews on commercial construction projects.
  • Ensure all masonry work meets project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to direct work activities.
  • Coordinate effectively with general contractors, project managers, and other trades.
  • Monitor daily productivity, morale, and crew performance.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols, conducting regular safety checks.
  • Track materials, tools, and equipment needs to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Train, mentor, and support crew members to build skills and encourage growth.
  • Provide accurate daily reports on crew progress and project status.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial masonry construction.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing crews and maintaining morale and productivity.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with contractors and trades.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
  • No formal education requirement-experience and skillset take priority.

Schedule
