Sub Shop General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sub Shop General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Sub Shop General Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that our shop runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of employees, including training and mentoring staff to enhance their skills.
• Oversee kitchen management, ensuring food safety standards and quality control are met.
• Manage daily operations including cash handling, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Assist with catering services and coordinate events as needed.
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to health regulations.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service and address any concerns or feedback.
• Utilize Toast POS system for efficient order processing and sales tracking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen management or as an Assistant Manager in a food service environment.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is preferred.
• Experience in catering services is a plus.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic financial management.
• Previous bartending experience is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
