Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and landscaping projects from start to finish
- Lead a team of crew members, providing clear instructions and ensuring efficient workflow
- Oversee landscape construction activities including planting, grading, mulching, general bed maintenance, and plant care
- Maintain safety protocols on-site to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to client specifications
- Manage equipment usage and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with clients and team members to plan project timelines and address any issues promptly
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, horticulture practices, and garden management
- Hands-on experience with lawn care, irrigation systems, tree care, and gardening tasks
- Familiarity with landscape construction processes including grading, planting, and hardscape installation
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively
- Knowledge of safety standards related to landscaping equipment and site operations
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members
