Security Guard

We are seeking a dependable and professional Overnight Security Guard to provide security and guest support for four downtown hotel properties located within a four-block radius.

Responsibilities

• Patrol four downtown hotel properties throughout the overnight shift.
• Walk outdoors between properties and remain visible and alert.
• Escort guests and employees to their vehicles when requested.
• Monitor properties for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and disturbances.
• Respond appropriately to guest, employee, and property security concerns.
• Document incidents and communicate concerns to hotel management.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
• Receive cross-training in front desk operations to assist overnight guests as needed.

Qualifications

• Dependable and comfortable working independently overnight.
• Able to walk and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable walking outdoors in downtown conditions and varying weather.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to remain calm and use good judgment when handling security concerns.
• Previous security, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred.
