What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Room/ Banquet Bartender position at Davenport Country Club?
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server during our evening shifts to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Great bartenders will create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
Job Type: Full-time or part-time
Pay: From $13.50-$15.50 per hour plus tips
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Job Skills/Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Experience as a bartender (2-3 years preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- High school or equivalent education required
- Availability on nights, weekends, and major holidays. (i.e. New Years, Mother’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
- Ability to lift/carry server trays. (˜50lbs)
Salary : $14 - $16
