Site Supervisor/Project Manager
Qualifications and Duties:
The candidate needs to understand that the job is for a working Site Supervisor on Custom Residential Home building; who is on location daily and is responsible for the smooth and safe running of the Residential Job Site. He/She needs to be an experienced builder of Custom Residential Homes, and attention to detail is critical. Computer proficiency with a working knowledge of PROCORE and preferably SAGE. Residing in the area. Jobs are primarily in Fairfield, Litchfield and Westchester County.
- Job site set up – coordinate all field set up – temporary fence protection, silt barriers, temporary toilets, site parking, site office, etc.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Prepare daily reports for review by Project Manager, Clients and Architects, on activities taking place on Job site.
- Oversee Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Labor Force on Job site.
- Ability to track and maintain change order log.
- Security –maintain job site security – lock and unlock job site, review daily for any safety issues.
- Maintain a Daily Job Log - who, what, where, when, goals achieved.
- Be familiar with and understand the architectural plans for your job.
- Must be able to work under pressure, be responsive to changes with Clients needs.
- Understand the Critical Path Schedule. Work with your job’s Project Manager to schedule subcontractors and follow thru on their performance.
- Look for problems before they arise – the Site Super is the eyes and ears of the Company on a daily basis.
- Maintain a “site office” – First Aid Kit, Safety Items such as fire extinguishers, OSHA mandated materials, and the ability to implement.
- Keep important job related paperwork, such as Scope of Work, for each Subcontractor. Have a copy of the Scope Sheets for each Trade on file at your site office.
Be available for on-site meetings with clients and architects when needed. Be prepared to update the Team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
