As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while effectively promoting our products and services. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are appealing.
- Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Must be Bilingual to better serve our diverse customer base.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A keen eye for merchandising and maintaining an organized store environment.
