Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to a Plant Supervisor, the Forklift Operator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Unloads incoming stock.
- Performs yard receiving and inventory control.
- Pulls material for production.
- Handles processed materials for staging, storage, and shipping.
- Stages and/or builds loads for painting, galvanizing, and shipping.
- Assures that quality of processed materials is kept during handling.
- Provides equipment support at saw, coper, and blastec equipment.
- Maintains proper records for inventory management.
- Attends spray-out as needed to address touch up requirements.
- Other duties as determined by supervisor.
Position Requirements:
- Certified to operate forklift.
- Basic ability to handle materials.
- Ability to obtain information on ASTM A6 assuring all material received at DSCO meets these requirements.
- Valid Driver's License.
