Duties
- Lead and motivate store staff to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets through effective team management and training.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to optimize sales performance.
- Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, employee orientation, and ongoing training & development programs to build a high-performing team.
- Handle scheduling, shift management, payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing clients.
- Conduct regular inventory control checks, stock replenishment, purchasing decisions, and merchandising to maximize profitability.
- Supervise all aspects of retail math calculations related to sales management, budgeting, and pricing strategies while maintaining organizational standards.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interactions.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development, and performance management.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations.
- Ability to manage budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks, and oversee payroll processes accurately.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
