Digital Operations & Marketing Coordinator — Part-Time

Propfox Property Management | Salem, Massachusetts
Approximately 15–20 hours per week | Combination of on-site and remote work

Are you the person people turn to when they need technology to work?

Propfox is looking for an organized, resourceful person who enjoys learning software, solving practical problems, and helping a growing business maintain a professional online presence.

We are a family-owned property management company founded by Dave and Alef Potter. We help independent property investors protect their assets, improve property performance, and step away from the daily workload of management.

Our founders bring the real estate experience and ideas. We need someone who can help put those ideas into action and keep our digital systems running smoothly.

What you’ll do

· Manage our YouTube channel: Organize the channel, prepare and upload videos, create thumbnails, add captions and descriptions, and maintain a publishing schedule.

· Help produce content: Assist with basic recording equipment and setup, edit straightforward videos, and turn longer recordings into short social media clips.

· Maintain our websites: Update text, photos, videos, links, and forms; check that changes work on desktop and mobile; coordinate outside help when needed.

· Support Buildium operations: Enter and update approved property, owner, and tenant information; help users access their portals; and maintain accurate onboarding checklists.

· Manage social media: Set up and maintain business profiles, prepare and schedule approved posts, and bring inquiries to the appropriate team member.

· Troubleshoot everyday technology: Research problems, work with software support teams, and follow issues through to resolution.

· Keep work organized: Maintain a shared task list, document recurring processes, and provide a brief weekly update on completed work, upcoming priorities, and results.

What we’re looking for

· Practical experience supporting business software, websites, and digital marketing.

· Confidence learning unfamiliar tools and finding solutions independently.

· Strong attention to detail, especially when handling owner and tenant information.

· Clear writing and the ability to explain technical issues in plain English.

· Basic video editing and graphic design skills using tools such as Canva and CapCut or comparable software.

· Reliability, good judgment, and a habit of checking your work before calling it finished.

· Availability to work in Salem regularly for collaboration and recording sessions.

Experience with Buildium, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, or website builders is a plus. You do not need to know every platform already, but you should be able to show how you have successfully learned and used similar tools.

Relevant work examples matter more to us than a particular degree.

What you can expect

· Direct collaboration with the founders.

· A varied role with clear priorities and practical responsibilities.

· A flexible part-time schedule with agreed working hours.

· Hourly compensation based on demonstrated skills and experience.

· Potential for additional responsibility and hours as the business grows.

How to apply

Send a brief introduction and résumé through this listing, along with:

1. Two or three examples of websites, videos, social accounts, or digital projects you have worked on. Explain your contribution.

2. A short example of a technical problem you solved.

3. Your weekly availability and desired hourly rate.

Finalists will be invited to complete a short, paid practical assignment using sample materials.
