What are the responsibilities and job description for the Law Intern position at Dave Pantos Esq., LLC?

I am a solo practitioner located in the Old Market of Omaha, NE. I have a law student associate who is a 3L at Creighton law and also part time legal assistant. I am looking to build our team with a summer intern who is a rising 2 or 3L. Our firm leans public interest and represents residential and commercial tenants, debtors, nonprofits and small businesses. Some of our clients include Omaha Tenants United, Maloney's Pub, and regular folks facing down unscrupulous landlords. We do a fair amount of litigation and practice heavily in Douglas County / District Court, with a smattering of cases in Sarpy and Lancaster and the occasional rural interstices therein.
If you have a passion for representing the little guy, the change maker, and want to get very real practical legal experience RIGHT AWAY, this is the place for you.
This is a paid internship that starts at $28.50/hour. The hours are flexible in case you are taking summer classes.
The job starts at the end of May.
