About Our Agency:
With 32 years at State Farm and 23 in agency, I lead a dedicated team of nine—seven in DeMotte and two in Rensselaer. We offer paid vacation, retirement plan participation after the first year, and a $200 monthly health insurance premium reimbursement for eligible team members.
My journey began as a claims representative in 1993, later managing complex injury claims and lawsuits before becoming an agent in 2001. In 2023, I expanded to a second agency in Rensselaer. Our DeMotte office has grown into one of the largest in Indiana by focusing on what matters most—helping one client at a time with personalized protection and exceptional service.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member for Dave Long - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
