We’re seeking a Territory Sales Representative with a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, cutting tools, and manufacturing environments — someone who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and driving growth in a technical sales setting.
Position Overview:
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for growing regional sales through partnerships with dealers, distributors, and end-user accounts.
You’ll combine hands-on technical knowledge with proactive customer engagement to deliver solutions that improve machining performance, tool life, and overall shop-floor efficiency.
This role blends channel development, direct end-user sales, and application-based selling to expand adoption across the precision manufacturing community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with Haas Factory Outlets (HFOs), tooling distributors, and coolant or metalworking fluid partners.
- Support dealer sales teams with product education, training sessions, and technical demonstrations.
- Execute a territory plan targeting CNC job shops, contract manufacturers, and OEMs to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Conduct in-person and virtual demos highlighting improvements in tool performance, coolant efficiency, and chip evacuation.
- Engage machining communities on LinkedIn, forums, and trade events to build visibility and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Collaborate with marketing on regional promotions, trade shows, and customer success stories.
- Provide regular territory reports and growth updates to leadership.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, ideally in cutting tools, metalworking fluids, coolant systems, or CNC machine tool distribution.
- Strong technical understanding of machining operations, chip control, feeds and speeds, and coolant application.
- Proven success in consultative sales to dealers, distributors, and end users.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven and organized, able to manage a large territory independently.
- Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 40–60%).
