Daughter for Hire LLC is seeking an Office Administrator to assist in day to day operations: manage phone calls, Care Companions, client and Care Companion schedules, as well as the overall operation of the office. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. Duties and responsibilities:
- Facilitate and maintain a weekly schedule for all Care Companions and clients using Daughter for Hire’s scheduling platform
- Handle all scheduling issues which may arise due to Care Companion illness or absence, or schedule changes from our clients
- Answer prospective client phone calls and provide accurate and helpful answers to those seeking services and information
- Manage new client onboarding process
- Manage new Care Companion onboarding process
- Oversee employee time clock reporting
- Assist in office tasks including, but not limited to, e-mails, phone calls, correspondence, photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Oversee email correspondence and reply/facilitate accordingly
- File and organize system information/emails
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school education and preferably a college degree
- Must have prior office and Administrative Assistant experience
- Proficiency in programs including Microsoft Office
- Must have the ability to learn various software programs necessary to perform this job
- Must demonstrate a highly articulate, pleasant, and professional demeanor
- Have an affinity for the elderly community and a compassionate attitude towards what that may entail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
This is an intermediate-level position with growth potential. We are seeking a long-term member of our team who will grow into a salaried position.
Compensation:
- Salary: $22-$24 an hour based up experience
- Paid time off: Two weeks paid vacation
- Sick Time: Up to 40 hours accrued

Working Conditions:
The Office Administrator position is a thirty-seven and a half-hour a week hourly position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am- 4:30 pm in the Daughter for Hire office located in Latham, NY.
