Daughter for Hire is looking for Caregivers for seniors in Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady counties.

About the position:

Daughter for Hire provides a wide variety of Non-Medical/non-personal care. We do not require certifications or medical background. As a Care Companion your duties will include but not be limited to Companionship, Light Housekeeping, Laundry, Meal Preparation, Assistance with Errands, Transportation to and from appointments. You will provide Standby Assistance, Respite Care as well as Safety Oversight and Support in Daily Routines. These tasks vary depending on the level of care requested by our clients and families.

What we will need from you at the least:

• Weekday and weekend hours available
• Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
• Valid Drivers License
• Your own insured vehicle
• Willingness to travel up to 20 miles to your clients home
• Complete a nationwide background check
• Your own reliable cell phone for access to our scheduling app, phone calls, and emails
• Ability to life and maneuver up to 25 pounds if needed
• No medical background is needed
