Daughter for Hire is looking for dedicated Care Companions in Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady counties.

About Your Role:
When you become part of Daughter for Hire you become an extension of someone’s family. As a Care Companion you will be the person to give comfort and peace of mind to both your clients and their families. By providing an array of services you will help your clients remain independent and safe in their own homes for as long as possible. Services provided but not limited to are light housekeeping, meal preparation, assistance in daily living activities and companionship.

What you will be doing:
- Companionship and engaging conversation
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with errands
- Transportation to appointments and outings
- Standby Assistance
- Provide respite care
- Safety oversight and support with daily routines
- Medication reminders

What we require:
- Weekday and weekend hours available
- Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
- Valid Drivers License
- Your own insured vehicle
- Willingness to travel up to 20 miles to your clients home
- Complete a nationwide background check
- Your own reliable cell phone for access to our scheduling app, phone calls, and emails
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds if needed
- Certifications and medical background are not required
