Role Purpose
The Plant Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for leading and developing suppliers to ensure full compliance with DAUCH Supplier Standards and requirements related to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor supplier performance in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD), ensuring timely issue resolution and corrective actions.
- Manage APQP and PPAP activities, supporting supplier readiness and successful new product launches (SOP).
- Ensure effective quality assurance and testing, validating inspection methods and product conformance.
- Support and maintain compliance with the Quality Management System, including IATF 16949, AQP, and GKN standards.
- Identify and mitigate supplier and quality risks, supporting change management and proper documentation.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and VA‑VE initiatives with suppliers to improve quality and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in Regional and Global Supplier Quality forums, providing clear reporting on performance and risks.

Education & Experience
- Bachealor degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2–5 years of proven experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Automotive Supply Chain environments
- Experienced practitioner capable of working independently
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and supplier management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
