Role and responsibilities:
- Engineers are responsible for the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform.
- They also manage cloud infrastructure and system administration and work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis, so strong communication skills are important in this position.
- They are generally expected to work well under pressure with tight deadlines for certain tasks, and a proactive demeanour and friendly disposition are also helpful.
- Engineers may work with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and executives, as well as administrative assistants, executive assistants, and receptionists.
- Hours can be flexible, though they typically work during regular weekly business hours, and they are not usually responsible for customer/client interaction or supervising junior employees.
- Develop comprehensive architecture and operational documentation.
- Define design standards for Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Support Wireless Access Gateway architecture.
- Provide domain expertise for troubleshooting and optimization.
- Support routing, switching, firewall, and wireless backbone.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and performance issues.
- Capacity planning and network optimization. Support high availability and redundancy design.
- Work closely with operations and infrastructure teams. Support 5G Core components (AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NRF, etc.)
- Assist with RAN integration and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot signalling and data path issues. Ensure alignment with 3GPP standards.
- Provide strategic guidance for 5G scalability and optimization.
